Mr. Arafa is a 1973 graduate of the University of Alexandria with a BS in accounting. He has completed special training programs in computer programming, taxes, and management. He handles the firm’s MIS assignments, including the analysis, system design, installation, training, and trouble shooting of the firm’s client’s computer hardware and software. He is also responsible for tax return analysis and preparation, development of system procedures and for assisting clients with automating their accounting and financial functions. Previous to joining Lawson, Rescinio, Schibell & Associates, Mr. Arafa had served as Executive Director for an international engineering firm and has experience in the hospitality and construction industries, engineering and architectural services firms and international accounting systems. In addition, he has advanced training in COBOL and has experience in finance, management, human resources and public relations.

Mr. Arafa is active in the National Society of Public Accounting of the USA, New Jersey Association for Public Accountants, and the National Association for Public Accountants.
