Michael A. Rescinio is a graduate of Monmouth University with a degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting and holds CPA Certificates in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California. After spending several years with an international Big 6 accounting firm in the Metropolitan area, where he specialized in tax, he became a founding partner of Rescinio, Schibell & Co. in 1989. Mr. Rescinio’s areas of specialty include not-for-profit and tax-exempt entities; the resort and leisure industries; computer systems and analysis; construction contractors; real estate development, business valuations, and litigation support services.
Mr. Rescinio is also very involved in professional and community service. Among his involvements are the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Director and past president of the Long Branch Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Long Branch Clean Communities Advisory Council. He has also served the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program of Monmouth University and Safe Havens, Inc. and currently is a member of the West Long Branch First Aid Squad.
