Sal Schibell, CPA, CFP®, MBA, MS Taxation
Sal Schibell is a graduate of Monmouth University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and then his M.B.A. He was awarded his Masters Degree in Tax Law by Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1990. He holds CPA Certificates in both New York and New Jersey, a Certified Financial Planner® and Personal Financial Specialist designations. He has over 25 years of experience in the accounting and planning professions.
Mr. Schibell was a founding partner of Rescinio, Schibell & Co. in 1989. Prior to the formation of the firm, he spent over 15 years in public accounting, most of them with an international Big 6 firm. Formerly a senior manager, he left public accounting to serve eight years as the senior financial officer and general manager of a major beverage distributor. In addition to his strong tax, accounting and financial background, Mr. Schibell also has expertise in the automotive, chemical, commodities, refining, real estate, construction and recycling industries as well as condominium associations and law firms.
Mr. Schibell’s professional and community service involvement includes the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also been a trustee and former president for the Central New Jersey Estate Planning Council, a former board member for the Ronald McDonald House, and former treasurer for the Monmouth County Boy Scouts. Mr. Schibell is very active and serves on numerous committees for many charitable organizations.
